'More violence'?
I wrote a bit about Monday morning's mosque fire here. Now comes the inevitable next step: the threat of 'more violence.' “Those who did this do not want peace,” said Yousif Taqata of Beit Fajar, who is certain that settlers were behind the attack.On Tuesday afternoon, four rabbis from the area (Rabbis Aaron Lichtenstein, Shlomo Riskin, Shlomo Brim and Menachem Fruman) went to Beit Fajr and delivered brand new Korans to replace the burnt ones. The 'Palestinians' said to please deliver them directly to terrorists imprisoned in Israel.
As he spoke, Palestinian men of all ages gathered in the room to stare at the broken tiles now littering the floor, and the blackened holes in the carpet.
On the wall were the words, “Mosque burning 18” and a Star of David.
Beit Fajar residents later prayed in the soot-filled building, and an elderly man chanted verses from one of the charred Korans.
A young teen pushed through the black dust on the wall with his finger to write in English, “Love of Life.”
At one point, according to a film clip shown on Channel 2, children who came there in the afternoon, once school was out, chanted, “Death to Israel.”
Both Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ehud Barak instructed security forces to take all measures possible to apprehend the vandals.
Although the identity of the arsonists was unknown, security sources speculated in a conversation with The Jerusalem Post that attacks by radical right-wing elements could spark retaliatory actions by Palestinians and result in a general escalation of violence in the West Bank.
Now, don't get me wrong: I'm not advocating burning down mosques. Yes, it's violent and criminal (although, as noted yesterday, I find it difficult to equate burning down an empty mosque with terrorism). But when was the last time anyone threatened retaliatory violence for a synagogue being burned down or defaced? And when was the last time you recall a community 'peace offering' in such an instance being so blatantly spurned?
Sorry, but the 'Palestinians' really need to grow up. And the world needs to stop with the double standards. Including Israelis.

I probably was not clear enough in this post.
The first Israel Radio report named three rabbis (the first two and one of the last two - I'm not sure which) and said 'they' had brought Korans.
The second Israel Radio report named all four and named one of them (R. Fruman) as having brought the Korans.
I am naming the one Israel Radio named, because the others don't deserve to be tagged with that kind of suspicion.
I cannot independently verify that R. Fruman brought Korans.
Those 'Rabbis' are very suspect. Why would any Jew bend over for Muslims unless they are willing Dhimmis. I used to respect Rabbi Riskin but his arab butt kissing has made me sick to my stomach. With Rabbis like these we do not need enemies. The Koran is blantantly antisemitic and for Jews to bend like dhimmis, offering to give Jew-hating books, is beyond the pale..
Carl, read the selected Quranic verses. No Rabbi should have apologized to people who worship what Islam teaches - period.

abc news is reporting that the arabs accepted the korans and cheered the rabbis
of course, haaretz reported that the arabs had fought off the vandals and that soldiers came to break up the fight

-Lets not waste precious resources on this investigation when there are murderers of the 'settlers' on the loose.
The only good Mosque is a defunct Mosque. -- I'd like to see someone write a paper on why Mein Kampf is evil anti-Semitism, but the Koran and Sunnah is not evil anti-Semitism.
Whether this Mosque was the typical Muslim false-flag operation, or the world of Jews proud enough to physically reject the Nazi-like religion of Islam existing in the Promised Land, a world with one less Mosque is an improved world.
As a disclaimer, I have studied Islam for many, many years [along with a slew of other religions] so my opinions are based on an enlightened view of the subject, and nothing knee-jerk. -- In fact I am amazed at how feel people in our societies today know little of the Koran and even less of the Sunnah [if they have even heard of the Sunnah! Islam's second "holiest" book].
