Terrorists planned to grab bodies of murdered Jews
Egyptian weekly al-Ahram reports on Monday that the Hamas terrorists who murdered four Israeli Jews from Beit Haggai outside Kiryat Arba on August 31 had planned to grab the bodies and hold them in exchange for the release of other Hamas terrorists from Israeli prisons. According to the report, the terror suspects arrested by Palestinian security forces following the attacks told their interrogators that their mission was to stage a kidnapping, causing Israel to impose a mass closure of the West Bank and thus derail peace talks between Israel and the Palestinian Authority. The terrorist hoped that Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas would be forced to resign as a result of the peace talks failing.I believe they were supposed to take the bodies, but not stage a kidnapping in the ordinary sense. Otherwise, they would have shot out the car's tires and tried to take the hostages alive.
The Palestinian sources cited in the report claimed that the attacks were carried out on the orders of Hamas leadership in Gaza and Damascus.
The plan to steal the bodies was prevented by a passing car which forced the terrorists to flee the scene.
It's time to put all the roadblocks back in place in Judea and Samaria. Unfortunately, for as long as these 'peace talks' continue, this is only going to get worse.

Israel's response should be:
1. Shoot an Arab terrorist prisoner.
2. Demand the Jewish victim's body back immediately or else we loop back to step 1 within an hour.
It's so simple, really. Any person with half a brain could come up with this.
I agree with Shy Guy. Why keep the terrorist offal in Israeli prisons alive?
I'd cancel them just like Operations did on "La Femme Nikita." Some people in my opinion, are just too evil to be allowed to remain alive.
That's the way it should be.

Jews in Judea and Samaria have shatterproof glass that sometimes helps against rocks.
Bulletproof glass is both heavy and expensive. The government won't pay for it except for buses.
At the height of the Oslo War, a brother and sister chipped in to buy bulletproof glass for their sister in one of the towns in Gush Etzion. I don't know anyone else who has it other than buses and bulletproof vans that can be hired as buses.
During the Oslo War, many Jews in Judea and Samaria wore bulletproof vests while driving. But until we started talking 'peace' again, it was generally quiet for the last few years, and most of those who wore the vests (purchased with their own money) stopped.
at this time there is no thin lightweight plastic laminate that could be applied to an existing glass windshield.
I spoke with the president of a bullet proof "glass" (actually advanced plastic polymers) company and she said it sounds like it could be possible in the near future.
We spoke about a heat/molecular glued plastic directly to glass application.
this would be a winner of a idea, especially if not to expensive or heavy. it may not be a 100% solution but I bet someone would make a load making and selling same...
in the end, we need to read news stories that terrorists shoot at an israeli, israel shoots back and kills terrorist...

I am all for shooting terrorists...
but since they will be shooting at you 1st, I suggest using all reasonable ways to protect your wife and kids...
Dont misunderstand me, I WANT to see Israelis KILL terrorists that attack them..
but if you notice, only once in a great while does that happen...
