Sandra Samuel, the Indian nanny who saved Moshe Holzberg from the Mumbai terror attack in which his parents HY"D (may God avenge their blood) were murdered, received Israeli citizenship on Monday. Sandra Samuel, the Indian nanny of Moishi Holtzberg who survived the terrorist attack on the Mumbai Chabad Center, has received Israeli citizenship.Anyone else thinking of Ruth the Moabite?
At a ceremony in the Interior Ministry Samuel said she would give her life and heart for Israel.
By the way, Moshe started first grade a few weeks ago.

I thought I heard on the radio yesterday that she was given temporary residency.
I do not understand what the FULL connection is to Ruth. Did she become Jewish or in the process?
OK. To be accurate, she was granted honorary citizenship and permanent residency status.
