Hang in there Bibi!

While it's way too early to start celebrating, here's some encouragement for Prime Minister Netanyahu to hang in there and not give in to pressure from the Obama administration. Politico reports that only 38% of Americans surveyed believe that President Obama ought to be re-elected in 2012.

The 'settlement freeze' ended 23 hours ago and the world has not collapsed yet. Israel Radio reports that 87 Senators have signed a letter to Obama urging him to pressure Abu Bluff not to walk away from he 'direct talks' despite the absence of a freeze.

The political winds in the US appear to be blowing in our favor. God willing, let it continue.

Hang in there Bibi!

I don't think Netanyahu had a choice. He made a promise and had to keep it.

His credibility was on the line. The Palestinians should not be allowed to have a veto over where Jews live.

They are free to bring up their demands in talks. But if they do, Israel is going to bring up its own demands. And if they want satisfaction, they must give something equivalent in exchange.

Massive unilateral Israeli concessions, as in the past, will not lead to peace but will set the stage for the next war.

I'm sure the Prime Minister, who is an admirer of Winston Churchill, understands this completely.

And let's remember in closing, who doesn't really want to be at these peace talks.
