Every time I try to watch a MEMRI video, it give me an error message. I watch videos all over the web, so there must be something that my mac can't handle. I keep thinking that "next time, it will work", but it never has. I wish they would cross-post them on youtube or something because I would really like to watch!
This is already a major concession from MEMRI. Until now, you could not embed their videos (except for the rare one posted to their YouTube account) unless you wrote to them first and they decided to let you have an embed code (for a while they could be uploaded to YouTube or LiveLeak by users, but they got more sophisticated and it's been a couple of years since I could do that). Only the biggest blogs could get those embed codes - I don't rate.
Now that they are giving embed codes on their site, I will likely post them more often.
I'm glad you can embed MEMRI's videos on your blog. I'll just have to call Apple or something and get them to work the system so I can watch them... sometimes they work and sometimes not (experience over at the MEMRI site over the years).
I am an Orthodox Jew - some would even call me 'ultra-Orthodox.' Born in Boston, I was a corporate and securities attorney in New York City for seven years before making aliya to Israel in 1991 (I don't look it but I really am that old :-). I have been happily married to the same woman for thirty-five years, and we have eight children (bli ayin hara) ranging in age from 13 to 33 years and nine grandchildren. Four of our children are married! Before I started blogging I was a heavy contributor on a number of email lists and ran an email list called the Matzav from 2000-2004. You can contact me at: IsraelMatzav at gmail dot com
