Lebanese army admits it fired first
The Lebanese army has admitted that it fired the first shots during Tuesday's exchange of fire with the IDF on the border between the two countries. In a statement issued to AFP and quoted by Lebanese daily al-Nahar Wednesday, the spokesman said that "the Lebanese Army opened fire first at Israeli soldiers who entered Lebanese territory…this constituted defense of our sovereignty and is an absolute right."Don't worry. The Brits won't change their condemnation because of that. They expect Israel to turn the other cheek.
Earlier, a senior IDF officer told Ynet in the wake of Tuesday's deadly border skirmish that left an IDF commander dead.Lebanon has much to lose should it maintain a belligerent attitude and cooperate with Hezbollah.

One dead Jew is equal to four dead Arabs.
In post-modern leftist thinking that has taken root among the Western World's elites, there is no right and wrong and no one is accountable.
Except for Israel. So to the Brits, the Lebanese can escape censure for their cold-blooded murder of a Jew because Whitehall values its relations with the Muslim World above principle.
And this kind of thinking is not going to disappear from Western chancelleries any time soon.
turn the other chick?
how about if Israel start acting like it should, and take lebanon to middle age???
what they did was a call to war statment. it was not an error or a confusion.
Israel should respond with full force, wipe the hell, not hizbollah, but Lebanon as a whole.
it will send a clear message to our dear cousins...
