Ground Zero victory mosque supporters show their true colors

For all those liberal American Jews who insist on supporting the Ground Zero victory mosque, you at least ought to know what kind of scum you're backing.

im not supporting them. im supporting the constitution. how convenient of you to only support that which is of your liking. i think muslims are stupid for trying to limit my freedom of speech, and i think you are stupid for trying to limit their freedom of religion.

again, i am not supporting islam. i an supporting the great constitution of the usa. i am not supporting the reasoning behind the placing of the mosque, im supporting the FREEDOM to do so. how can u complain about muslims being intolerant when u behave the same way???

shame on every american who does not defend the consitutional freedoms that have made this country the greatest.

radical islam wins again

here we have an org that has raised 20k to build a 100-200 million cultural center

they dont have an architect, they dont have any civil engineers on staff, they dont have a project manager, there is no enviromental impact study, they have no agreements or contracts written with the cities numerous unions and no contract with the nypd for crowd control....in other words, this is a project that is barely on paper

and yet they have managed to rile up a significant part of the population and forced us to face off on what is a non issue.

and isnt that what radical islam is all about? using al taquiah to juke out your enemies?

no matter what the right or the left say...this is indeed a non issue

but i do so love how 1 billion muslims are now a persecuted minority.

tell you what, when even one of them goes through what my great grandfather did when coming to america...being forced to find new work every week because he would not work on shabbas...then maybe i will feel sorry for them.

till then, they are all still playing a game of smoke and mirrors, and i could care less

I thank God I'm not an American right now. The Torah maximizes the right of the Jewish nation to repulse any attack, either from within or from without, while you Americans are hoist on your own petard of the Constitution. Our problem is we follow foreign laws instead of the Torah, but once we embrace what's ours we Israeli Jews will have none of this "Let's not stoop to their level" nonsense.

Ziontruth, even if you were an American right now - of any persuasion - there is no room for any Islamic rule in the US.

Daniel here babbles about Constitutional "rights", when he forgets the most elementary foundations of America's independence:

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness."

Islam, by definition, is a villainous mirror image of what the Declaration calls for.

I agree, Shy Guy, but I think we both know Islamic rule operates in a piecemeal fashion, slowly, with probes at each step, of which is the 9/11 Victory Mosque is one example.

One is laughed off when he says a mosque, even at Ground Zero, paves the way to Islamic rule. That way, the Muslims use the democracies' tenets against them, bit by bit, until it's too late. In fact, the only reason why Middle Eastern Muslims have voiced misgivings concerning the 9/11 Victory Mosque (as well as the 9/11 attacks themselves) is that it sabotages the Demographic Jihad by drawing attention to Islam.

The only way to fend off slow, quiet, "legal" Islamization is by banning Islam outright. (Same goes for Marxism, by the way.) I don't see this happening under the American Constitution any time. The problem exists whenever the state is no longer held to be its nation's castle.

Ziontruth, regarding Constitutional concerns, read from the 2nd half of what I quoted from the Declaration of Independence, starting with the words "That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends..."

The founding fathers themselves understood that this could apply to a future American government itself.

As Thomas Jefferson said:

"I hold it, that a little rebellion, now and then, is a good thing, and as necessary in the political world as storms in the physical."

Even more boldly, Jeffeson stated:

"The people cannot be all, and always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to the importance of the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty. ... What country before ever existed a century and half without a rebellion? And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure."

Ouch.
