The Emergency Committee for Israel's latest ad targets Rep. Rush Holt, but its real target, again, seems to be the left-leaning Jewish group J Street.I'm going to see the Executive Director of ECI this week at a conference, so I can check this if any of you thinks I am wrong, but my sense is that ECI is not specifically going after J Street. Rather, by signing that pro-Hamas letter, 54 Representatives, all Democrats painted targets on their backs and labeled themselves as anti-Israel. ECI is going after any and all of them who are already in trouble in their election races.
