60% of likely US voters see Israel as an ally

Well, here's some good news.
A national survey of 1,000 likely voters conducted August 9-10 asked: “Generally speaking, is Israel an ally of the U.S., an enemy of the U.S. or somewhere in-between?”

Responses: 60% ally, 4% enemy, 31% somewhere in between, 6% not sure.
I'd love to see a comparison between Israel and other countries on that question.

There's a second question to that survey and unfortunately it shows a fear of what President Obama may yet try to do to Israel.
2* A year from now will America’s relationship with Israel be better than it is today, worse than it is today or about the same?

10% Better

34% Worse

45% About the same

12% Not sure
Ouch. That's an awfully high percentage of "worse" and it shows a lack of trust for Obama among Israel's supporters.
