An Obama nightmare scenario: Like Jimmy Carter on steroids
Victor Davis Hanson lays out what seems like one of the obvious nightmare scenarios of an ex-President Obama. With a Republican takeover, Obama — far from repeating Bill Clinton’s reaction to his congressional reproof in 1994 — could go the other way, becoming a far better progressive purist and liberal icon, unwilling to compromise his redistributive beliefs in the face of reactionary opposition. With a defiant Obama at the progressive barricades, gridlock might save him from himself — and, importantly, set up an uncompromising post-presidential persona that would make the globe-trotting careers of Tony Blair, Bill Clinton, Jimmy Carter, and Al Gore look amateur. Such considerations, I think, terrify stodgy centrist Democrats up for reelection this fall.They should terrify all of us. In the last couple of years, Carter has met with Ismail Haniyeh and Imam Fadlallah and laid a wreath at Yasser Arafat's grave. What could Obama do for an encore? He'd be like Carter on steroids (only MUCH younger).

I wouldn't be worried. Who listens to Carter besides the other "Elders"?

One problem that I pray for every single day is FORMER President B.O. Him in office, able to appoint people, issue executive orders, enforce (or not) laws and run our foreign policy is something that gives me nightmares and makes my blood pressure go up. Out of office he will simple be another annoying jackass trying to relive his glory days.
obama is much worse then carter....the media here has sworn allegiance to this man.his policies are destroying everything that was good about america,,,,,look at his cabinet.look who he surrounds him self with mostly marist people,,if we don't change directions .we are alldoomed america as well as israel.we are the two nations he despises more then anything.and with a press that worships him what more proof do we need.......
