European Jews running scared?
Here's a very disturbing report of statements made by European Jewish Congress President Moshe Kantor on Tuesday. Kantor has recognized that European Jewry is in its most precarious position since World War II."Jews are afraid to walk the streets in Europe with Jewish signs. Synagogues, Jewish schools and kindergartens require barbed-wire fences and security and Jewish men, women and children are beaten up in broad daylight," he said in a message to Members of European Parliament from the three Benelux countries who attended a lunch meeting in Brussels organized on the eve of Belgium’s presidency of the European Union. He's right, but it won't happen (with the exception of Geert Wilders in Holland). They're too busy worrying about 'Islamophobia.' But here's where I think Kantor really hit the nail on the head:
Representatives of the Jewish communities of Belgium, Holland and Luxembourg were also present.
Kantor added "most worryingly, Jews are being forced out of many European cities, like Malmo, because of the atmosphere of hostility and violence."
"I would like European politicians to state loud and clear that there is no justification or understanding whatsoever for the attacks on Jews or Jewish institutions in Europe," he said.
He rejected the "false claim" that these attacks are a natural reaction to events in the Middle East.Recall Natan Sharansky's 3-D test for anti-Semitism. The behavior on Europe's streets certainly seems to fit the bill. Has Europe become anti-Semitic again? Did it ever stop being anti-Semitic? Is this the old time anti-Semitism or a new one pushed by Europe's influx of Muslims over the last 20-30 years? And is there any hope of stopping it?
"This line of reasoning is illegitimate as well as dishonest. There are tens of conflicts raging in the world, where hundreds of thousands of people are losing their lives. Has anyone heard of a single other act of violence in Europe that is justified because of a foreign conflict?," he said.
I believe that European Jews should make aliya to Israel while they still can.

Carl, agreed.
They have excuse for remaining there. And unlike the grandparents' generation, they can't say they didn't know.
They do know! Time is running out for what is left of European Jewry.
What could go wrong indeed
I didn't "remain there". Me - as hundreds of thousands of others - have chosen to GO there, and many of us are Israelis as well :-)
W/o being afraid then or today of what the autocratic Jewish Oligarchy in European Jewish Community boards deliberately, but wrongfully call anti-semitism.
In this uncertain world there is just one sure prophecy: Jews will survive for ever, but in the end not on the lands occupied by Abraham, conquered by Moses' followers and re-occupied by us.
Right... the Avrum Burgs don't seem to mind the risks. I think Israel should make an exception just for them!
All this is true.
But why should we run away from these scum? They are not English or French, they are aliens!
We are staying and fighting them!
Stop the muslim occupation of Israel and UK!
No surrender!!
