Wedding season revisited
I went to two more weddings last night, came home and promptly fell asleep in front of the computer.Sorry about that.

Sleep is overrated when looking for a wedding venue.

Funny thing is that one of the places was the place where my son and daughter-in-law got married two years ago and they had it set up completely differently and MUCH nicer. So as soon as I got out, I called Mrs. Carl and described it and asked "did they offer us that?"
And she said, "unfortunately no."
I know the feeling. I get offered one thing when I know they will do it differently.
If you have other daughters you have an advantage with the second one. You know what to expect and how much to pay!

We've married off a daughter and a son. We have two daughters and four sons to go.
Definitely easier to marry off sons.
The three youngest are all sons.
I wouldn't know about sons. Have only daughters.
