Does escort = engage?
I don't think so.
Israel has to face up to the fact it is at war - and will be for a long time to come.
What could go wrong indeed
This is good, as it clarifies things. Military intervention into a blockade will only result in the destruction of the vessels attempting to break the blockade.
If Turkey or Iran sends an escort, and they are cautioned and advised to turn around, under threat of escalation, they are to blame if they attempt to continue on. No problems. Sink them, and simultaneously bring them to account in the security council and other venues.
Start using the apparatus around us to apply severe pressure to the terror supporters. Its time to stop accepting their inanity.
