Steak au poivre and chicken cordon bleu, 'Palestinian' style

Here's video from a restaurant called Roots Club located in Gaza City. The video was taken in May 2009 - after Operation Cast Lead, and while the 'poor Palestinians' are supposedly starving. You can find a promotional video about the restaurant (and catering hall) here. It sure looks like they're starving, doesn't it.

I've posted their contract information at the top of this post (screen captured from their website) in case any of you want to make reservations for dinner, or perhaps schedule your next family event there.

Let's go to the videotape.

Tom Gross, who posted the video, notes:
In case anyone doubts the authenticity of this video (which is up on the club’s own website), I just called the club in Gaza City and had a nice chat with the manager who proudly confirmed business is booming and many Palestinians and international guests are dining there.
And you thought the 'poor Palestinians' were starving.

Read the whole thing.

I'm sure the ordinary Gazans will be as surprised as I am. I bet these are Hamas mobsters; the video reminds me of the Godfather.
