Overnight music video

Thursday was the eve of the new month of Sivan - tonight is the first day of the new month. On the eve of the month of Sivan, many Jews say a prayer known as Tefillath HaShla. Tefillath HaShla is a prayer written by the Holy Shla, the author of a treatise known as Shnei Luhoth HaBrith (the two tablets of the covenant). In the prayer, we ask that God give us wise and righteous children and grandchildren, who marry similarly situated spouses and have similar offspring. In a way, this prayer summarizes the emphasis of every Jewish family.

This song is NOT Tefillath HaShla. It is, however, part of the prayer that Jewish women say every Friday night after lighting Sabbath candles. It's called v'Zakeini and I played it about a month ago (if you go there you can find all the words and you can find it sung by an adult). This version is sung by Dovid Dachs, who is the son of well-known singer Shloime Dachs.

Let's go to the videotape.
