seems one can post as much anti israel hate as one wants, but if one points out (as i did) to the user that the vid she posted was filled with violent and ugly imagery and fabrications and misquotes...well that is enough to get one banned.
now i have to work on getting back all my contacts...and i lost my huge farmville farm

no one tricked her into saying that she believed if she was open about her political leanings, she would have something to fear from homeland security.
however, i too really dont like horowitz' tactics. he is much like the rights version of a norman finkelstein.
she asked a question, he should have responded...not that she really cared.
but she definitely aint a peace activist

Just FYI, UCSD (my lovely alma mater) sent out a fundraising brochure with some professor on it doing research in Egypt wearing a keffiya. I basically put it in the trash without even looking at what it said.
Also, remember that UCSD was the late-life feathered nest of Herbert Marcuse, godfather to the '70s Baader Meinhof folks and the current Alinsky gang. Herbert Marcuse, while enjoying his beachfront later years, used to go to student parties along the beach and sit in the kitchen sermonizing on the evils of corporations and how oppressed the poor best educated students ever were. His idea was to get into the schools, govt, corporations, etc, and to bring them down from the inside.
So, bacci40, to think that this "poor" girl was somehow tricked by Horowitz.... well...
Actually, though, I was proud of UCSD for hosting Ambassador Oren in a civilized manner.
