Iran claims it ordered US reconnaissance jet away from naval exercise
Iran claims that it ordered a US reconnaissance jet to stay away from an Iranian naval exercise on Monday.An Iranian army commander said a US reconnaissance aircraft had tried to approach Iranian naval manoeuvres, but was warned by the Iranian military to leave, Fars News Agency reported on Tuesday. The incident happened on Monday, the semi-official news agency said.Hmmm. I trust someone is watching via satellite anyway.
"A US reconnaissance aircraft which had intended to approach our operational wargames left the region upon the timely warning of our air defence forces," it quoted army commander Ataollah Salehi as saying.
