The White House PR blitz
The White House has finally figured out that they have a real problem when it comes to Israel. So they're trying to shower us with love, because they know that there's no chance they will get anyone here to agree to anything if Israelis feel that America is going to abandon us. But one former Democratic official said there has been disagreement within the administration about how to deal with the fallout from Vice President Joe Biden’s trip to Israel and Netanyahu’s recent visit here. Those arguing for aggressive outreach “have finally broken through to the White House, which now understands and accepts that there will be no movement on the policy without [better] public relations.”Let's hope Israelis aren't sucked in by the 'love.' It's all a fake anyway.
“What happened here, is they came to a moment of truth about 10 days, two weeks ago, ‘we have failed,’” the former Democratic official continued. “’Our Middle East policy and posture is in chaos, is in failure, and there is no way to ignore it. And therefore, what do we do about it?’ And they decided, we need to change the posture. They realized they were going down a bad path. So they launched a PR campaign — a blitz — entirely to support the policy.”

“What everyone was concerned about is that the White House is losing the Jewish community,” said a congressional staffer, describing the meeting with Ross and Sher. “And they are not explaining what they doing. They are late to beat back [the chatter] that Obama doesn’t like Bibi [Netanyahu], that Obama is an anti-Semite. The same way they were late to beat back the ‘death panel’” charges from right-wing groups last fall during the health care reform debate.
“They finally figured out there is a campaign being run against them,” he continued. “It’s not just a coincidence that there are full-page newspaper ads” telling Obama to ease up on Netanyahu. “The problem is, if they let these things go, it spreads. …There is a difference in how you package things.”
The reference was to separate appeals from two influential Jewish leaders, Nobel Laureate Elie Wiesel and World Jewish Congress President Ron Lauder who each took out ads urging Obama to ease up pressure on Netanyahu.
“Israel has made unprecedented concessions,” Lauder wrote in his open letter to Obama, which he later told The New York Times had been approved by Netanyahu.
Still, officials and Washington Middle East watchers emphasize, that what has changed is the public relations strategy for the policy, not U.S. policy. And that does not change the fact that substantive disagreements remain between the U.S. and Israeli governments on issues such as East Jerusalem.
What could go wrong?

So, what are they really talking about here? There are only about 6 or 7 (?) mil Jews in the whole U.S. Their vote numbers really are somewhat trivial in the big picture. Maybe they are talking about their big $donors? They may be smarter than the dem PAC rabbis, for example, and object to the U.S. piling on.
When you get down to it, the question for the U.S. is not necessarily religious. It is whether they want the Middle East, still vital for oil, to go from having one Western, democratic, technological outpost to having ZERO. That is the bottom line. Think about it Obamis. Whatever you think about the parties, religious groups, etc., Obama needs to figure out whether he wants a huge, beligerent no-go zone created on his watch.
Sugar coated poison is still poison. As effective as killing, but tasting sweeter.
Israel, and world Jewery, assume the Obami are your enemies. Because they are.
Assume they do not have your best interests at heart. Because they don't.
Assume that they want to destroy that which jews hold dear, in the name of some feel good help-the-oppressed-non-white-people thing, without a clear understanding that they have backed the camp that wants to target them next.
Democrats and liberals may be ideologically blinded, or simply incapable of recognizing reality. I neither know, nor care which it is. The bromides they offer above their poisonous policies are as much a disaster for jews as they are for Americans in general.
Please, if you can't bring yourself to vote republican in the forthcoming elections, please ... vote for non-democrats. Look at it this way, you aren't voting for someone, you are voting against something. Against evil, against ideological blindness, against those whom are against you.
Because, if you are not going to stand up for yourself and your people, who will? If you don't stand up before November, when will you?
The Obami have set new levels of epic failure, easily outpacing that other failed president, Jimmy Carter. Its time to make sure that we brush off their sugar coated poison, defang them, and then defeat them.
What love? Israelis know the White House's trying to brush off the crisis is entirely for PR reasons - and the fact its not gaining traction for its confrontation with Israel at home. I'd look for things to be "normal" at least until after the mid-terms. Israeli-Palestinian "proximity talks" will go nowhere but at least the White House looks good. That's all it cares about.
