Former Israel Airports security chief: 'Full body scanners are useless'
Rafi Sela, the former security chief of the Israel Airports Authority, told the Transport Committee of Canada's House of Commons last week that full body scanners are useless. He told the lawmakers, who were investigating the state of Canada's aviation safety, that the 44 imaging machines – each costing $250,000 – were a response that was too little and too late.Sorry Rafi, but behavioral profiling and trusting (inevitably non-Muslim) travelers is not PC.
Sela, who helped design the security system at Ben-Gurion International Airport, has some 30 years' experience in the field. He warned the lawmakers, “You are reacting to incidents instead of being one step ahead of them” when the acquisition of the scanners was announced, days after a Nigerian national tried to blow up a U.S. airliner in December.
“I don't know why everybody is running to buy these expensive and useless machines,” Sela commented. “I can overcome the body scanners with enough explosives to bring down a Boeing 747. That's why we haven't put them in our airport.”

Sela recommended instead that Canada use a “trusted traveller” system that sorted pre-approved, low-risk passengers, who could quickly be moved on with an expedited screening process, from those who might require more investigation. Such investigation would employ enhanced screening areas where automatic sniffing technology could be used to rule out explosives on a person's body or in baggage. He added that Canadians should also be using behavioral profiling.
Israeli security officials routinely use both.

You make it sound like the tactics used by Homeland Security and the TSA are actually meant to catch terrorists, and that their only downfall is their incompetence.
If their motive in all of this was the safety and protection of the general public, there are far more reliable, cheaper and less invasive methods authorities could implement, instead of subjecting passengers to humiliating body searches and dangerous levels of radiation.
Even with all the heightened security last Christmas, a passenger who was on a watch list, paid $2,831 in cash for his ticket, carried no luggage (in the middle of winter), and had no passport was able to board a plane with a common explosive in use since WW1.
The way I see it, as far as our government (read: Zionist terrorists) are concerned, their psychological attack on the public is going according to plan.
So whether these security wizards are guilty of gross incompetence or high treason, either way it's clear the general public is in the midst of a clear and present danger, and it's not from some boogieman hiding in a cave in Afghanistan.

Full Body Scanners is an emerging concept of aviation security, which has promoted a strong R&D pipeline to constantly develop machines that are image free and less radiation emitting.
