Hmmm. The most stunning result is the first two results taken together. 62% want to keep building in Jerusalem even though 61% understand that could ruin what is left of our relationship with the Obama administration.

Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat said in London Israel will keep building in Jerusalem. There will be 50,000 new apartments planned in proportion to the ratio of the Jewish and Arab populations in the city. Life cannot be stopped or frozen. People have families and they need more space and a better quality of life. If this upsets the world, the Obami and the Palestinians, its just too bad. But that is the reality.
I agree with your assessment; it's time to step back from the US but not to divorce, unless
1) the present govt really becomes like mitzrayim, then save the yidden; or
2) the present govt is replaced by a benevolent admin, then rebuild the relationship; but
3) the galus of edom needs to end (and this is what is happening at present); mostlikely to be replaced by the era of Yishmael until Moshiach arrives.
I wonder whom did they ask these questions, if only 62% of respondents support construction in Jerusalem. Who are the remaining 38%? What is in their heads?
Mystery...
