Axelrod backpedals and lies
Just when you thought you had seen all the chutzpa you could take from the Obama administration, along comes Obama thug David Axelrod with this:A top aide of US President Barack Obama told CNN's State of the Union program on Sunday morning that Obama did not snub Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu when the two met in the White House last week.Yeah, right. There are words for that but I won't use them on this blog. One of them is a large animal with horns. You treat your number one ally's Prime Minister like a third world dictator and then you claim there was no snub?
Reuters quoted David Axelrod as saying that the meeting between the US president and the prime minister was "a working meeting among friends." He reportedly added that "there was no snub intended."
White House reporters and Israeli columnists raised the issue after the leaders' talks were closed to the media, without a photo-op or press release following the meeting.
"This was not about formalities. This was not about a ceremonial meeting. This was a working meeting. We have a deep, abiding interest in Israel's security," Axelrod said.
And then there's this from Obama 'senior adviser' Valerie Jarrett.
In an exclusive interview this morning on This Week, Valerie Jarrett, senior adviser to President Obama, said “The United States is a strong and ardent ally of Israel. The fact of the matter is that friends can disagree.”Let's go to the videotape.
“I think what’s important is that world leaders are able to sit down with one another, have frank conversations and move forward,” Jarrett told ABC News’ Jake Tapper. Following mounting tension between the US and Israel over Jewish settlements in Jerusalem, Obama held low-profile meetings with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday, which many have labeled as a “snub.”
Jarrett said she didn’t think there “was any doubt in the mind” of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about President Obama’s “commitment to Israel and its safety and how important that is for the United States and for the region.”
Netanyahu has plenty of doubts but because he's the Prime Minister, he has to be diplomatic and not express them publicly. But Israelis have no doubt and I don't have to be diplomatic:
Obama is committed to our destruction. Obama is committed to replacing the democratic State of Israel with the Islamic 'state' of 'Palestine.' Obama is an anti-Semite. And even some mainstream columnists are saying so. There is no other explanation for his consistent behavior right out of the starting gate.
But isn't it fun watching the Obami backpedal faster than a left fielder going after a fly ball out of the park? Hey - where I come from there's a wall in Left Field called the Green Monster. Here's hoping the Obami crash into it.

You treat someone so viciously and then you come out and claim you didn't really mean that? Notice Netanyahu didn't act all enraged and claim Obama's treatment of him was an insult and an affront to the State Of Israel. He well should have. But that's the difference between a man and a boy in adult clothes who took offense over nothing AFTER Israel had already apologized for it. And there's no apology from the Obami; just lies and evasions.
These are not the people I'd trust to secure Israel's well-being and its borders, security, etc. As Barry Rubin pointed out, Obama unilaterally broke two major promises to Israel for no good reason. The only reason Israel isn't breaking relations with the US is that Israelis don't believe America IS Obama. But after what happened last week, any Israeli Jew would be a fool to trust someone who hates the Jewish State so much he wants to tear Jerusalem out of it.
HELL NO! ENOUGH AND NEVER AGAIN!
Carl - Obama will host a Seder tonight with his merry band of court Jews. Its just going to be surreal hearing "next year in Jerusalem" from the same crowd while they simultaneously execute policies that would effectively strip Jerusalem away from Israel.
Jonathan Tobin has more here on this nauseating spectacle:
New World Record For Chutzpah: Obama's Seder
I don't know about you but this is so tasteless it leaves even chutzpah inadequate to describe how bizarre it is to pretend you love Jews while you do a very nasty - no - evil thing to their own country.
They have no shame in the White House.
