Steinitz hints freeze may end early
Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz said on Sunday that the Israeli government may rethink the 'settlement freeze' in the event that there are no talks with the 'Palestinians.'"If we keep getting the cold shoulder from them the cabinet will rethink the settlement freeze. We will not turn the other cheek and we won't accept a situation where we offer gestures and get incitement in return," he said.Curiously, I have not seen that one denied yet.
Hmmm.

What's the point of a ten month "freeze" for a Palestinian answer. They said "NO" and that's not going to change over the coming year. Why punish Jews for Palestinian intransigence? It makes no sense whatsoever.
