Barak has learned nothing

If you need any, here's proof that Ehud Barak has learned absolutely nothing from his failure at Camp David nine years ago.
Defense Minister Ehud Barak has his own peace plan for the State of Israel.

Yesterday, in an interview on a Channel 10 program, he said that the government should set up a Palestinian state immediately with temporary borders. Later, within two years, he said the two sides should finish discussing the more difficult issues such as Jerusalem, Arab immigration, final borders and security issues.
What could go wrong?

The Palestinians would be happy to take Barak's offer but they will not recognize Israel or make peace with it. And in the post-Goldstone Era Israel is simply not going to execute any further territorial withdrawals. The world has changed - and the only one who doesn't recognize it has changed for the worse for Israel is Ehud Barak. His plan is not going to bring peace to Israel in the near to medium future. And it is not going to become Israeli government policy.

Barak is a wise man. That's exactly the plan that's needed. It's been what I've been proposing for some time now.
