Sorry, I but I still don't favor trading terrorists for his release. It's inviting the next kidnapping and it's signing the death warrants of many more Israelis R"L (God save us).

I myself was banned yesterday over at LGF. My crime was to point out that if Israel releases 1000 terrorists from prison, then they should all be 1000 dead terrorists that could never harm us again.
I said this right after viewing the Shalit video, so I was also emotional, but in your opinion do you think my comment was over the line?
I don't know why everyone is thrilled with the way Shalit looks. If you examine him closely he looks terrible. Dark circles under his eyes, the gaunt look in his face, & where are his glasses? I understand he is quite near-sighted without them (So how could he be reading a newspaper?).
Trade no one for him, give Gaza 12 hours to release him or Israel will wipe all life out of Gaza, then do it.

No, I don't think you were over the line, but you need not have been over the line to have been banned.
There are several other people who read this blog who have been banned at LGF and I am sure they will agree with me.

That was in addition to other things...no response from him. I guess he's been busy searching for any signs of creationism or right-wing criticism of Obama.

I agree completely. Doesn't anybody see how emaciated he is when he stands up...his belt is practically collapsing into his waist. And this is probably after they fattened him up for a couple of weeks.
As far as wiping all the life out of Gaza...even though many of us would love to see Israel's leaders having the cahoonas for that, the most realistic thing they can do is start sending back Hamas's desired prisoners in body bags ten by ten every day.
Make an ultimatum. Every extra day that Shalit spends in captivity, Israel will send back 10 of their freedom fighters in body bags.
I haven't been banned from LGF yet, because I've stopped participating there long ago.

I'd say was worth paying the price to see the video? NO! And neither is it worth paying a ransom to free Shalit. I haven't changed my mind after viewing it.
