Overnight music video

Mrs. Carl and I went to a big wedding tonight, where I sat next to one of my favorite commenters. I won't say more than that about it so that we can keep a bit of people's privacy.

At the wedding ceremony we sing If I forget thee o Jerusalem, let my right hand be forgotten, let my tongue cleave to my cheek if I don't mention Jerusalem['s destruction] at my joyous occasion. Abroad, it's sung in the middle of the ceremony just before the seven blessings, but in Israel, it's the last thing in the ceremony. Then we break the glass and everyone dances.

Here's Mordechai Ben David's version of the song.

Let's go to the videotape.
