Video: Assaf Ramon gets his wings
President Shimon Peres presented Assaf Ramon with the award for excellence at Ramon's graduation ceremony from flight school. On September 13, 2009 Ramon died when his F-16 crashed near Mount Hebron six years after his father, Ilan Ramon, the first Israeli astronaut, died re-entering Earth on the space ship Columbia.I can only pity Assaf's mother for all the pain she is undoubtedly experiencing. What a horror....
