Phyllis Chesler's New Year greeting
Lost among the posts I did not get to share with you before the holiday was Phyllis Chesler's New Year greeting on Pajamas Media. It was simply beautiful.Unfortunately, I can think of several precious souls to add to Phyllis' list of those who remain in captivity: Zack Baumol, Yehuda Katz and Zvi Feldman (all captured in the Battle of Sultan Yaqub in 1982 and never heard from again), Ron Arad (shot down over Lebanon in 1986 - now believed to have died in the mid-90's), Guy Hever (went missing from his base in the Golan Heights in 1997), and Majdy Halabi (went missing in 2005).
