Born in Boston, I was a corporate and securities attorney in New York City for seven years before making aliya to Israel in 1991 (I don't look it but I really am that old :-). I have been happily married to the same woman for thirty-five years, and we have eight children (bli ayin hara) ranging in age from 13 to 33 years and nine grandchildren. Charles looks a bit too passive for someone who is now manic...hmmm. Dan Rather should cut off Charles' pony tail It is so 1970's.
Didn't Charles once have an admired blog? I forgot the name of it. It seems to have gone totally lefty.
Did you even send him an email following your banning? I still can't believe what happened.

I sent Charles an email after I was banned. I thanked him for his contribution to pro-Israel blogging. I did not ask to be reinstated.
Nor will I ask.
I stopped commenting there a long time ago.
More recently, I removed LGF from my homepage startup list. I have simply stopped visiting there.

The very fact that he banned you is a slap in the face to pro-Israel blogging. Your blog was a tremendous resource.
I don't expect you to beg him or reinstatement. He'll eventually apologize to you for his mistake.
When did all these bannings take place? I am surprised, as I never saw either of you post anything inflammatory. Can you point me out where I can see the exchanges?
Count me as another ex-LGF reader. Don't know what's gone wrong with Charles. Maybe he's got a new liberal girlfriend. Who gives a toss about creationism and ID? There are a lot worse ideas out there.
Chuckles banned me too for supporting Carl. LOL.
The banned list is positively huge - and growing.
Poor Charles. He's gone off the deep end and has belatedly discovered that he can't swim without help from the likes of Sharmuta and Killgore.

Interesting. I found my account was blocked. I assume that not agreeing with what Sharmuta writes is bannable offense there (even if you don't post about it).

I am proudly banned from LGF. When Charles banned Carl? At first I was in shock, and then I gave it the 24-hour rule, and waited until the next day. I posted that I felt his banning was just plain wrong, and that I was leaving. Charles made it easier, as he deleted my post sooo fast, but I was able to copy and paste it just in time, as it was gone. I got a lot of email, and just pasted my statement to show that I did not flounce, but left politely. To this day, I cannot understand how Charles banned Carl for daring to give a hat tip, on his own blog, to someone Carl 'dared' to mention, as I was under the mistaken idea that this was a democracy.I would hazzard a guess that Charles has his slavish slaves check any Lizard's blog for anything he considers dis-loyal. Sharmuta must keep very busy.
Carl never even posted it on LGF, as to not hurt Charles, yet someone was just looking for a chance to make trouble.
Now, weeks after? I am even happier that I did leave, when I see what LGF has ecome. It is a liberating feeling!There are a large number of posters who have also left, without saying a word.
Sad to see Charles disintegrate like this, but he really has lost all credibility. He has now returned to 9/10/01, and is stuck on stupid/leftie.
I was pre-registration, and am still friendly with a number of posters who also were either banned, or left on their own. Watching the train wreck known as LGF is not worth the time.
