Why I haven't commented on Saturday night's attack on a gay center in Tel Aviv
As has been all over the media, there was a shooting attack on a center for gay youth in Tel Aviv on Saturday night in which two people were murdered.I have not commented because I am waiting to hear from the police what type of terror attack this was: An attack by people who hate gays on gays, an attack by people who hate Jews on Jews (both victims were Jewish) or perhaps a combination of both (for example, an attack by Arabs on a facility that caters to Arab and Jewish homosexuals, which killed Jewish homosexuals).
Many Arab homosexuals from Judea and Samaria have attempted to move into Israel because Israelis are generally more tolerant of homosexuals than 'Palestinians' are, and it is possible that the center in Tel Aviv also served Arabs from the territories.

The whole thing seems hinky. Politically/Religiously motivated attacks are usually accompanied by a message. If not the perpetrator making it easy to get caught (so everyone can know how devoted he is), or leaving an anonymous message with the media.
The center was discrete. The attacker didn't attack the institution or it's leaders. The attacker attacked individuals inside.
If the attacker were looking to make a statement against homosexuality, Tel-Aviv is a target rich environment. This hardly seems like the place to make your mark.
The killing of a human being is wrong but does not mean I condone the person's sin. Far from it.
This morning's radio interview included details that the shooter was very professional in his handling of the automatic weapon and seemed to have known his way around the inside of the club very well.
"An attack by people who hate gays on gays,an attack by people who hate Jews on Jews"
The post doesn't make sense - I can't understand what you're trying to say :(
