Video: Glenn Beck rips Obama's Medal of Freedom winners

In this video, Glenn Beck rips some of President Obama's Medal of Freedom winners. A lot of people feel Beck has been over the top of late, but he's spot-on with these.

Let's go to the videotape.

More unfounded smears: this time from an unhinged idiot!

This is what happened. Fact.

Mary Robinson believes Lantos, with whom she was friendly before the Durban conference, misunderstood her role as secretary general in the secretariat of the conference.

“The conference was run by the member states, particularly by South Africa as the chair,” she says. “So all key meetings and all decisions at the official level were made by governments and I wasn’t present when they were arguing about whether anti-Semitic language, which was in brackets, should be included.”

Robinson claims that, after Israel and the US withdrew, she helped persuade South Africa to remove the offending language, so that the final declaration was eventually welcomed by Israel’s former foreign minister and current president, Shimon Peres.

In her role as UN high commissioner, she rejected the document approved by the NGO forum at Durban, criticising passages she viewed as anti-Semitic. And in a dramatic and much-reported intervention during the event, Robinson denounced a booklet of anti-Semitic cartoons produced by an Arab lawyers’ group.

“My husband is a cartoonist, I love political cartoons, but when I see the racism in this cartoon booklet, of the Arab Lawyers’ Union, I must say that I am a Jew – for those victims are hurting,” she told her audience.

“I know that you people will not understand easily, but you are my friends, so I tell you that I am a Jew, and I will not accept this fractiousness to torpedo the conference.”

Now, I realise that you Likudnics won't place any credibility on the word of Shimon Peres... but that's your problem.

Menonite,

Funny that's not what Tom Lantos said.

Mary Robinson is a Jew-hating anti-Semite and Barack Obama is a disgrace to the United States of America.

And I don't believe Peres said what you claim he said.

Here's what your enemies think :-

As for Mary Robinson. The problem is not that she is Jewish. The problem is that she has not revealed this in the past and that she can now be understandably accused of having a personal "conflict of interest" because of the way she has conducted herself and especially because she has been leading the charge to prevent Israel being vilified at the Durban Conference as so many others think is both fitting and necessary.

Hard to please everyone, isn't it. These idiots think that because she said " reading this I am Jewish "that she meant that she was literally Jewish, which of course she isn't. You, on the other hand manufacture outrage at something which never happened.
If Israelis would be honest, they would admit that they disapprove of Mary Robinson because she's Irish. And of course , since the Irish provide troops to the UNIFIL mission on the Lebanese/Israeli border, Israelis dislike them.
And Shimon Peres absolved Mary Robinson from charges of anti-semitism; look it up!
