Interview with Dr. Izzeldim Abuelaish

I am sure that many of you remember the story of Dr. Izzeldin Abuelaish, the 'Palestinian' doctor whose three daughters were killed during Operation Cast Lead when weapons and ammunition in a neighboring home, or elsewhere in his own building of which he was not aware, triggered an explosion. Dr. Abuelaish is a doctor on staff at the Sheba (Tel HaShomer) Medical Center just outside Tel Aviv.

CNN's Anderson Cooper interviewed Dr. Abuelaish for his 360 degrees show (the person who posted the video said it was Christiane Amenpour's interview, but most of the interview is with Cooper).

Let's go to the videotape.

If there were more 'Palestinians' like Dr. Abueliash, we probably would have had peace here a long time ago. Sadly, there are very few. I am also shocked that he has apparently not chosen to move out of Gaza. Other doctors at Tel HaShomer apparently urged him to do so long ago.

More about this incident here.

If there were more like him in Gaza there never would have been an Operation Cast Lead, Sderot would still be known only for its music and not rocket attacks, and the Palestinians would have their own nation by now.
