Hamas and Fatah move further apart

Maan News reports that Hamas has given Fatah until August 25 to agree to its reconciliation terms or their split is final.
An agreement on internal Palestinian unity must be signed on 25 August without further rounds of unity dialogue in Cairo, Hamas spokesman Fawzi Barhoum told Egypt on Thursday.

“Hamas wants to avoid useless dialogue sessions and we are concerned about ending rivalry between Palestinians,” Barhoum said Hamas officials told Egyptian negotiators.
Someone has to teach these people the meaning of the term 'negotiate.' I'm as happy as anyone to see them divided, but they seem to have no clue how to compromise.

Elder of Ziyon reports that Hamas has taken a page out of President Obama's book and is preparing to publish a 'black list' of Fatah 'conspirators' in Gaza. I guess we won't be seeing scenes like the one at the top anytime soon. Anyone think they were singing Kumbaya back then?

Hope and change same!

The Palestinians have never learned how to live together and that - not Israel, remains the greatest obstacle to their having a state someday. This is one feud likely to continue forever.
