Jim Rice inducted into Hall of Fame
You all knew I would post this....Here's Hall of Famer Jim Ed Rice accepting his induction into the baseball Hall of Fame at Cooperstown on Sunday.
It goes without saying that I saw Jim play in person many times both at Fenway Park and at Yankee Stadium when I was living in New York. He was one of the great ones and this honor is well-deserved. He made it into the Hall in his last year of eligibility as a regular inductee because - like many of us - he didn't like the mainstream media.
