Hezbullah: 'Hands off our weapons'

Hezbullah may have said last night that they will accept Lebanon's election results, but don't expect them to give up control of the country or to lay down their weapons.
Following its election defeat which was officially announced by Lebanese authorities on Monday, Hezbollah insisted that it would not decommission its weapons.

"The majority must commit not to question our role as a resistance party, the legitimacy of our weapons arsenal and the fact that Israel is an enemy state," Hezbollah member of parliament, Mohamed Raad, told the French news agency AFP.
Anyone want to start a pool to predict when Hezbullah's next coup attempt will come?

Hezbollah is too powerful to be disarmed. And it would rather not take over the Lebanese state, which would limit its freedom of action. In fact, its defeat allows it to have the best of all worlds and it can resume the jihad against Israel any time it is ready to do so.

Doesn't Hezbollah still hold veto power over the Lebanese government?
