Breaking: 3 people shot at Washington Holocaust Museum; UPDATED with video
Three people have been shot at the Washington Holocaust Museum on Wednesday afternoon.Three people were shot tonight at Washington’s Holocaust Museum, after a lone gunman entered the building with a shotgun and opened fire at a guard.Anyone want to guess the gunman's religion? I'll bet it isn't Christian, Jewish, Hindu or Buddhist....
The shooting comes a week after President Obama visited the Buchenwald Concentration Camp in Germany during a trip to Europe.
According to witness, two other guards fired back after the gunman opened fire in the museum, in central Washington about one mile from the White House. One of the victims is in a critical condition. The suspected gunman is in custody. It is not clear if he is one of the wounded.
Washington police said the gunman was also shot. The museum, which attracts about 1.7 million visitors a year, is heavily secured, with metal detectors and armed guards.

The shooting was reported to police at 12:52 p.m., and officers rushed to the scene just south of Independence Ave. bordering the Mall.UPDATE 10:03 PM
D.C. Fire Department spokesman Alan Etter said there was no immediate information on the shooter. He said two men were transported to a hospital with "serious" gunshot wounds.
One witness, Dave Unruh, of Wichita, Kan., said he was waiting to enter the museum when he heard one gunshot, then a sequence of four or five gunshots. He said he then heard someone scream, "Hit the floor!" He and his wife, Karen, and their two teenage grandchildren hit the floor and were subsequently herded out of the building by authorities.
Unruh called the experience "intensely, extremely frightening."
By 1 p.m., the street in front of the museum was blocked by a museum police officer. A group of schoolchildren was rushed onto a chartered luxury coach and the bus driver struggled to pull away from the block.

No. It could be Christian. There are no lack of white supremists in the US.
But statistically in this day and age, I would put my money down that it's a Muslim.
Even if I lose, I win almost every other time. The game is practically rigged.
Since B. Hussein spoke on Friday, and the shooting wasn't until Wednesday, is this considered a delayed reaction?

And I'll further bet that, like the story of the black African-American Muslim who shot up that US Army Recruiting Office last week (killing one soldier, wounding another), the US MSM will studiously ignore the story if the culprit is a Muslim.
It should be mentioned that the above criminal was converted to Islam while in prison, like many hard core black American Islamofascists. This phenomenon is a growing danger in America and, of course, the MSM ignores it. Not PC and Islam is "the Religion of Peace", right? /sarc
Tom Brokaw asked Obama "what lessons should Israel take from the Holocaust in the way thet treat Palestinians"? TO Obama's credit, he replied that we shouldn't make any equivalence there.
BUT...I am sure that it will take no time for someone to argue that having a Holocaust museum and not a museum on Palestinian suffering is what explains this shooting. Another "poor" muslim simply too upset to think straight!
I am betting that the shooter is an American converted ex-con.
The shooter is a prominent white supremacist Nazi, James von Brunn, who, according to Fox News, had a load of anti-Semitic, racist stuff on his website. Like another pea from the pod, David Duke, he probably shacked up with suitable Islamofascists.
Darn! I should have stuck to white supremist.
Oh well. There's not much difference between the old Nazis and the new ones. All that can be said for both is they want Jews dead.
