As goes Chrysler so goes Israel?
I know that a lot of you who live in America are undoubtedly following the debt restructuring of Chrysler Corporation. In a nutshell, the Obama administration has been accused of attempting to force Chrysler's senior lenders to take significantly less than their outstanding debt to keep Chrysler out of bankruptcy... and to turn the company over to the Federal government and to the United Auto Workers union.Over the weekend, remarks attributed to Thomas Lauria, a senior bankruptcy partner at the New York law firm of White and Case claimed that the Obama administration threatened the senior lenders that it would sic the White House press corps on them if they did not go along with the administration's plan.
Today that story has been confirmed. Even though it has no direct connection to Israel, I want you to read what the negotiators - seasoned lawyers who are used to dealing with these kinds of numbers every day - have to say about the Obama administration:
I hope that Prime Minister Netanyahu is ready to face these kinds of tactics when he meets with President Obama the week after next. America is in good hands. What could go wrong?Creditors to Chrysler describe negotiations with the company and the Obama administration as “a farce,” saying the administration was bent on forcing their hands using hardball tactics and threats.
Conversations with administration officials left them expecting that they would be politically targeted, two participants in the negotiations said. …
The sources, who represent creditors to Chrysler, say were taken aback by the hardball tactics that the Obama administration employed to cajole them into acquiescing to plans to restructure Chrysler. One person said described the administration as the most shocking “end justifies the means” group they have ever encountered. Another characterized Obama was “the most dangerous smooth talker on the planet- and I knew Kissinger.” Both were voters for Obama in the last election.
One participant in negotiations said that the administration’s tactic was to present what one described as a “madman theory of the presidency” in which the President is someone to be feared because he was willing to do anything to get his way. The person said this threat was taken very seriously by his firm.

Yep. Israel would be more secure if every observant Jew moved to Israel. Those who refrain from doing so rebel against G-d and indeed they are blind men without Him in the exile. Yassachar Shlomo Teitchal z'tl" had a change of heart during the Holocaust and he wrote entirely from memory the treatise Em Habonim Semeichah to exhort Orthodox Jews to move to Israel to build it up and fill it with Torah.

Let's not be detained by impiety among secular Israeli Jews. Abraham the first Jew had pagan ancestors. From this we draw the lesson that if Abraham had not made aliyah, the world would not be a better place today. Jews are commanded by G-d to go to Eretz Israel regardless of who rules the Land.
Read it all. And with more Jews, Israel is better placed to resist foreign pressure aimed at bringing about her extinction. Especially in view of that filthy dwarf in Syria today declaring Zionists are the germs of mankind. Show that all his efforts to destroy Am Yisrael will amount to nothing!
