British lawmakers meet with Hamas

Part of a delegation of nine British parliamentarians that is currently in Syria met with Hamas politburo chief Khaled Meshaal (pictured) on Tuesday. According to the British embassy in Damascus, the delegation's leader, Conservative Party MP Richard Spring, did not meet with Meshaal, nor did British ambassador to Syria Simon Collis.

Unfortunately, the worldwide boycott of Hamas seems to be unravelling. Meetings like this just serve to give the terror organization credibility.

By conferring unwarranted legitimacy upon the Palestinian Islamists, the West is ensuring no two state solution will ever happen. The West tried to moderate the Nazis. We all know the outcome. It would be no different with Hamas.
