Iranian 'moderate' raises clenched fist to Obama and calls Israel a 'cancerous tumor'

Every once in a while, I read something from the Iranian apologists in the mainstream media about how as much as Ahmadinejad may talk about destroying Israel, there is really nothing to worry about, because the 'real power' in Iran is held by the 'moderates' Ayatollahs, who are more 'moderate' and would never sanction an unprovoked nuclear attack on the Jewish state. I've refuted that argument in the past by pointing out that Ayatollah Ali Khameni, Iran's 'spiritual leader,' has called for Israel's destruction.

Just to show the Iranian 'leadership' are all in tune with Ahmadinejad, on Tuesday, Khameni called Israel a 'cancerous tumor' (again) just like Ahmadinejad did. For good measure, Khameni also showed a clenched fist in response to the extended hand shown by the moronic moonbat who currently occupies the White House.
"The only way to save Palestine is resistance," Khamenei said in his keynote address as he kicked off a two-day international summit organised by Tehran in aid of Gaza and the Palestinians.

"Support and help to Palestinians is a mandatory duty of all Muslims. I now tell all Muslim brothers and sisters to join forces and break the immunity of the Zionist criminals," Khamenei said.

He also called for putting Israeli leaders on trial for the recent assault on Gaza in which 1,300 Palestinians and 13 Israelis were slain.

"The political and military leaders of the occupying regime that played the role in the disaster of Gaza must be put on trial. This is the first step that should be taken," Khamenei said.

...

Khamenei said any negotiations to solve the issue was fruitless, adding that the United States and Britain committed the "crime of creation and supporting this cancerous tumour (Israel)."

"Even the new president of the United States who came to power with the motto of changing the (George W.) Bush administration's policies talks about unconditional commitment to secure Israel. This is defending terrorism by a government."
Hopenchange anyone?

I disagree in calling this a clenched fist raised to Obama.

It's an open handed extended in cooperation.

Israel and Iran are two countries that don't have a border and in theory should have no conflict. In the Shah's time, they even had unofficial friendly relations that were ended when the Khomeini Islamists took over 30 years ago. Its important to point out Iran's rulers are not Iranians first; they are Islamists first and Israel stands in the way of bringing the Middle East under Islamist suzerainty, head of course of by Iran. That's why the mullahs devote so much effort to destroying such a small country - it stands in the way of the Islamic Revolution conquering the world.

If that sounds familiar, it should. The Nazi rhetoric and Holocaust denial from Tehran is not coincidental. We heard it all before. Like Hitler, the mullahs one way or another have to be stopped. This time the Jewish people will not go to be slaughtered willingly. They will fight back and destroy the Islamic regime's capacity to destroy them before that happens.

You heard it here first.

NormanF,

Why do you say it was 'unofficial'? I believe Israel had an embassy in Iran. I know El Al flew to Tehran in the '70's.
