Israeli Navy allegedly prevents Iranian Red Crescent ship from reaching Gaza

This video claims to be an Israeli Navy boat preventing an Iranian Red Crescent ship from reaching Gaza. It has no date, no time, no proof than it's a Red Crescent ship or that it's cargo is medical supplies. But it has someone speaking Israeli-accented English saying that there is no access to Gaza and the boat should leave the area (which apparently it does), so what the heck.

Let's go to the videotape.

By the way, if this video is what it claims to be, can someone please tell me how they got that close to Gaza in the first place.

Even if it is authentic - I do not see the problem. Israel is under no obligation to trust Iranian ships so close to it's border/coast. In fact, the government's responsibility requires it NOT to trust it. This isn't a French ship - or even Indonesian (which does not have diplomatic relations with Israel, either) - we're talking about someone with genocidal aspirations.

LB,

No question. I just was struck by the fact that the whole story did not look authentic (I didn't see it reported anywhere else recently unless this was supposed to be the ship that was turned away last month - far from the Gaza coast).
