'A hideously anti-Semitic cartoon;' 709 terrorists out of 1166 Gaza casualties

The Anti-Defamation League has issued a statement condemning as 'hideously anti-Semitic' a syndicated cartoon that appears in Thursday's editions of several American newspapers (Hat Tip: Aryeh Z.).
Abraham H. Foxman, ADL National Director, issued the following statement:

Pat Oliphant’s outlandish and offensive use of the Star of David in combination with Nazi-like imagery is hideously anti-Semitic. It employs Nazi imagery by portraying Israel as a jack-booted, goose-stepping headless apparition. The implication is of an Israeli policy without a head or a heart.

Israel’s defensive military operation to protect the lives of its men, women and children who are being continuously bombarded by Hamas rocket attacks has been turned on its head to show the victims as heartless, headless aggressors.
Here's the cartoon.

And this is the US, not the Arab world. Amazing....

Ironically, the IDF issued a report today indicating that 709 out of the 1,166 casualties in Gaza were confirmed to be Hamas terrorists.
A statement said that the figures were released "in order to remove any doubt regarding he number of Palestinians killed" during the offensive.

There were a further 162 names which had as yet not been attributed to any organization.

295 "uninvolved Palestinians" were said to have been killed during the operation, 89 of which were under the age of 16, and 49 of which were women.

The statement stressed that Hamas "placed the primary fighting scene at the heart of civilian neighborhoods as it booby-trapped homes, fired from schools, and used civilians as human shields."
But the world will always condemn Israel.

wake up...

" 709 out of the 1,166 casualties in Gaza were confirmed to be Hamas terrorists."

It would not matter if 1165 out of 1166 were terrorists..

Israel is the evil empire against innocent, peace loving arabs who call themselves "palestinians"

Everyone seems to say that in the cartoon, the 'body' symbolizing Israel is headless.

But doesn't it look like that is the head of a snake dangling over the right shoulder?

Just what is that supposed to symbolize?

Of course. It was never about the Palestinians. It will always be about the Jews. I'm not shocked - I gave up expecting goodwill and understanding from the world a long time ago.
