Olmert wants $85 million for rent over the next five years

His chutzpah knows no bounds. Eventually resigning Prime Minister Ehud K. Olmert has asked the State to pay NIS 350 million for rent for an office for him for the next five years. That's just a shade under $85 million.
Outgoing Prime Minister Ehud Olmert has asked the State to rent him an office in a plush Tel Aviv high-rise building which would cost taxpayers NIS 350 million over five years.

The request was submitted by the Prime Minister's Office, and asks the Knesset to approve an office which is 140 square meters, and which is situated on the 15th floor of the Platinum Towers.

The Knesset Finance Committee Chairman, Avishai Braverman, said that the request would be discussed only after the new coalition is formed.
And you were wondering why the sniveling creep was suddenly calling Binyamin Netanyahu a 'patriot.'

Olmert has no shame. But then, you knew that already.

You mean Ehud Olmert is not packing his bags for France? No wonder he's counting on Israel's taxpayers to be forgiving of his need to live high after he leaves office.

Hopenchange, Kadima-style!

Heh
