Special lady pledges $900 million for Gaza Hamas
While they're handing out bailout money in Washington, the Hopenchange administration is promising $900 million in American taxpayer money to bail out Gaza (Hat Tip: Red Tulips). The United States plans to pledge more than $900 million to help rebuild Gaza after Israel's offensive against Hamas and strengthen the Palestinian Authority, a U.S. official said on Monday.Come on now - you don't really think this money isn't going to go to Hamas or that Hamas isn't going to get credit for it, do you?
The money will be channeled through UN and other bodies and will not be distributed via the militant group Hamas, which rules Gaza, said the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity as U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton plans to make the announcement next week at a Gaza donors conference in Egypt.
The March 2 donors conference in Sharm el-Sheikh resort aims to raise humanitarian and rebuilding funds for Gaza after Israel's offensive against Hamas at the end of last year.

Clinton's bid to get the $900 million could face an uphill battle in Congress where requests for Gaza will likely meet resistance as Hamas continues to rule there and the U.S. focus is on its own souring economy.
In December, the former Bush administration said it would give $85 million to the United Nations agency giving aid to Palestinian refugees in the West Bank, Gaza, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria.

Man, Harvard must be an easy school. Evidently you can graduate with no knowledge of history or psychology, or economics, or literature, or religion, or science, or philosophy, or politics (other than Chicago realpolitik, which you learn in Chicago, not cambridge).
Pretty soon a lie about attending Harvard will be more impressive and lead to more intellectual crediblity than actually attending the school.

Money is fungible. Anyway, any one who thinks Hamas will use the money for anything other than replenishing its arsenal needs their head checked.

It's such a fraud... it's the biggest paradox in the history of the world. It's going to blow up in America's face like it always does.
It amazes me that the American economy is shredded to pieces, more bank failures are on the way, the inflation ration is shooting through the roof faster than ever before, and the government still found time to print more money for terrorists.
This makes me sick, I can't believe what my countries government is doing.

This is Barry repaying Hamas for their support during the election (remember the phone banks?) and can be characterized, as the OP on this thread noted, as Chicago politics on a global scale, which is what will emanate from the USA for at least two years (midterm elections, anyone?).
I think Obama's pal Ayers should be appointed as the official go-between to bail out terrorists, and leave Hillary free to attend to other aspects of our global surrender.
