I would guess if Ehud Olmert is not convicted, he will plot to get back Kadima. Don't laugh. Bibi was tossed by a landslide in 1999 and now he's all but set to become Prime Minister again. Only in Israel, do public figures come back from the political graveyard.
There's a joke that the Messiah has already come when you know he who was out and down is back again to try to lead his party out of the political wilderness.
I still think that Peretz and Olmert are considered far bigger failures than the press ever tried to paint Bibi.
This would be good, though. I'm in favor of Peretz winning. It will eliminate the joke known as Kadima masquerading as centrist party - and bring Israel back to the bi-polar system.
I am an Orthodox Jew - some would even call me 'ultra-Orthodox.' Born in Boston, I was a corporate and securities attorney in New York City for seven years before making aliya to Israel in 1991 (I don't look it but I really am that old :-). I have been happily married to the same woman for thirty-five years, and we have eight children (bli ayin hara) ranging in age from 13 to 33 years and nine grandchildren. Four of our children are married! Before I started blogging I was a heavy contributor on a number of email lists and ran an email list called the Matzav from 2000-2004. I had a good laugh over this one.
No wonder Labor's down the tubes. May they sink even further! Morons.
