The ultimate in Israeli moonbattery?

I thought I had heard everything from the multi-culturalists. I really did. But this one that I just heard on Israel Radio takes the cake.

Most of us in Israel live in small apartments and cannot house relatives and friends from the south - which is still being bombarded with rockets daily - for more than a day or two at a time. Many of you may remember the stories from the Second Lebanon War about all the Israelis from the north who paid for hotels in the center of the country for the duration of the war. That's going on again on a lesser scale (most of the towns under fire in the south are 'development towns' and their residents cannot afford to pay for hotels). But in Haifa, they have a different priority than housing Jews from the south.

The City of Haifa (known in this country as 'Red Haifa') wants to take in 'Palestinian' 'women and children' from Gaza to save them from the current war that's going on there. They act as if there has never been a female suicide bomber or one under the age of 18. Imagine what a hero a suicide bomber in Haifa from among these people would be. But wait. It gets worse.

These Haifa moonbats have approached the foreign ministry - the ministry run by she who would be Prime Minister - and the foreign ministry is in favor of this madness.

Now they are 'working with' the IDF, which may actually be reluctant (we can hope) to risk soldiers' lives for this madness. After all, a bus full of 'Palestinian' women and children would be a target rich environment. Hamas could kill a few soldiers, inflict some civilian casualties and then claim that Israel did the shooting and the world would feel sorry for them. If they shoot at their own food supply, why wouldn't they shoot at soldiers trying to evacuate their women and children?

How about trying to evacuate them permanently to any country other than Israel that will take them? Wouldn't that be in Israel's interest?

Morons.

Why not have the Arab World and Iran take them in? Israel is not responsible for starting this war and should not take care of her enemies. Let's pray the Israeli moonbats' proposal goes nowhere. And I bet the people who are the ones putting the Palestinians' plight in the news daily won't extend the milk of human kindness to them. In other words, let's see what the reaction would be if they were actually asked to care for the Palestinians. Then why should Israel do what they won't do? Israel has enough problems without have to watch potential Fifth Columnists. And will Haifa really take them in? I doubt it.

Haifa?

Carl I presume you realise that the oxidiser that powers the Quassam rockets comes from Haifa Chemical. Haifa KNO3 and sugar; the latter courtesy of the UN I expect. or maybe Israel supplies both now?

On this subject why does Israel still allow fuel and electricity to flow into Gaza? Having abandoned the Bible they really just don't get this 'war' thing anymore it seems....

NormanF,

Haifa would take them in a second.

Chris,

Israel supplies sugar (which at least once that we know of had potassium nitrate mixed in).

The government hasn't got the courage to cut electricity or water. It's been discussed many times but the government just won't do it.
