Yet another Kassam attack - Government closes crossings to Gaza

Early Thursday evening there was yet another Kassam rocket attack from Gaza on Sderot, the sixth of the last two weeks. There was no damage and there were no injuries. In response, the government has announced that the crossing points from Gaza into Israel will be closed on Friday. None of the 'Palestinian' terror organizations has taken responsibility for the attack.

Hamas claims that Israel's closing the crossings in response to Kassam attacks is a violation of the 'truce,' which is scheduled to be extended to Judea and Samaria in four weeks if it holds up that long. Islamic Jihad says that it will 'retaliate' for IDF counter-terrorist operations in Judea and Samaria during that interim period.

More than seventy truckloads of supplies were transferred to Gaza during the day on Thursday.

Like a game of ping pong. The Israeli government has no answer to the problem of terror. Of course there is an answer but they're so used to being in grovel mode that they don't get there's another way to resolve it: hit the bully back. Oh by Sunday, the crossings will be opened again.

But since it obviously already hasn't held up, there's no question of extending it...right?
