Obama makes things perfectly clear
At a news conference in Amman, Jordan on Tuesday, Democratic Presidential candidate Barack Hussein Obama made it absolutely perfectly clear who supports Israel (Hat Tip: Hot Air)."Let me be absolutely clear," Sen. Barack Obama, D-Illinois, said today at a press conference in Amman, Jordan. "Israel is a strong friend of Israel's. It will be a strong friend of Israel's under a McCain...administration. It will be a strong friend of Israel's under an Obama administration. So that policy is not going to change."I'm so glad we cleared that up.
UPDATE 11:40 PM
Pamela has this on video, including some of the things he said right afterward, which are simply beyond belief. Here's a small part of the trancscipt:
"it is gonna be very difficult for Israel to ever be secure if you don't have some sense of opportunity, prosperity and security with its neighbors" [the billions the US, the EU and Israel was a mere drop in the bucket of blood]...... everyone is going to have responsibilities and obligations in this process. Sometimes I think there is a tendency for each side to focus on the faults of the other instead of looking in the mirror and seeing what can be done to improve the situation"
As if .... utter moral equivalence. They are not the same. The most stark and obvious example was lat week's exchange of vicious and unrepentant terrorists in exchange for the remains of Israelis murdered by Hezbollah. Where is the equal playing field in Sderot or Ashkelon or the relentless attacks on Jews on their holiest of cities Jerusalem. Do you see Jews or Christians murdering Muslims in Mecca? Of course not, they are not allowed.
Ouch.

Exactly! The man literally can't put an intelligent thought together and makes gaffes during a press conference! The Presidency of the United States requires a man at the top of his game. And he's not very knowledgeable about foreign policy.
