'Palestinians' discovered with LAW anti-tank missiles within Jerusalem city limits

DEBKA is reporting that a large weapons cache that includes LAW anti-tank missiles was found in the Shuafat 'refugee camp' on Monday. The Shuafat 'refugee camp' is located within the Jerusalem city limits; it was built by the Jordanians in the 1960's. For those who know the city, it is located along the relatively new Pisgat Zev - Neve Yaakov highway (Hat Tip: Eliyahu in Shilo). The picture at the top of this post is of a US soldier (appears to be a woman) holding a LAW anti-tank weapon. Portable, isn't it?
A joint Israeli military-border police raid of the northern Jerusalem Palestinian district, turned up a large secret weapons cache, Monday, May 5. Seven men were arrested on suspicion of engaging in terrorism and arm trafficking.

DEBKAfile’s military sources report this was Israel’s first large-scale counter-terror operation in the Jerusalem municipal area. Uncovered was a large stock of pistols, hand grenades, stun grenades, ammo and military equipment, as well as LAW anti-tank rockets.

...

The house-to-house search was preceded by a curfew and encirclement of the targeted Shufat camp, most of whose 10,000 inhabitants have Israeli identity cards with benefits.

The Shufat camp fringes northern Jerusalem’s main transport hub: highways heading north and out to the Dead Sea and the road connections from the French Hill, Pisgat Zeev and Neve Yaacov suburbs to the city center.
It's also near the rail yards being built for Jerusalem's new trolley system, which is scheduled to open in 2010.

Some of you may recall that a border policeman was murdered in Shuafat in January.

The discovery of this arms cache ought to give you some indication of what is likely to happen if the Olmert-Barak-Livni government turns over the 'Arab neighborhoods' of Jerusalem to the 'Palestinian Authority.' Imagine what would happen if the border police and the IDF could no longer conduct raids within in neighborhoods in 'East Jerusalem.'

A classic LAW would be the M-72.

What you're picturing looks more sophisticated, like a guided TOW or ATGM.

The Israeli government has all but guaranteed a mega terrorist attack is going to happen. And when it does - the blood of those slaughtered will be upon its head.
