Ehud K. Olmert: 'I am not a crook'

For those of you who understand Hebrew and went to sleep early last night, I will have Prime Minister Ehud K. Olmert's statement to the media for you below. Unfortunately, the picture is pretty much non-existent, but the sound is clear. For those of you who don't speak Hebrew, following Olmert's video I have another video of a press conference that came to mind last night while I was listening to Olmert. Hopefully, Olmert will suffer the same fate as the American President who speaks in that video.

Let's go to the videotapes. Here's Olmert at about 11:20 Thursday night Israel time.

And here's the press conference Olmert brought to mind. It's Richard Nixon in 1973.

Richard Nixon resigned from office on August 9, 1974. Hopefully, Ehud K. Olmert won't take as long.

A man who is not in fear of G-d has the protection of Heaven withdrawn from him. It reminds me of King David asking Hashem to punish the man who committed the crime with Bathsheva. And the prophet Natan's words from on High ring down through the ages: "You are the man!" As Olmert is going to find out, humility would have spared him a lot. His least endearing quality is its all about me me me rather than the State Of Israel.

The latter which should always be his first priority as Prime Minister and he instead revealed for all to see he is not worthy of the high station of his office. The sooner he goes, the better off the country will be.
