'Israeli Arabs' riot near Zipori

Israeli Arabs observing the 'naqba' - the 'catastrophe' of Israel's founding - rioted this afternoon near Zipori in the Galilee. Several police officers were injured in the riot. Israel Radio reported that two 'Israeli Arab' MK's were also injured.
The clashes broke out at a demonstration in Kfar Safuriyah, near Nazareth. As the event was coming to a close, a group of youths gathered on Route 70 where a group of rightists were holding a counter-protest.

Police had blocked off the highway to prevent clashes between the two groups. A fight then broke out between police and dozens of the Israeli Arab youths.

According to Jezreel Valley police, officers used stun grenades to disperse the crowd. Several cops, including Northern District Police chief Shimon Koren, sustained light injuries after protesters hurled rocks at them, said the police.

A number of youths were arrested following the clashes.

More than a 1,000 people gathered at the demonstration on Thursday, including leaders of the Higher Arab Monitoring Committee, members of Knesset, Israeli Arab political leaders and social justice groups.
Fifth column anyone?

Just for the record, Zipori is well within 'pre-1967 Israel' and the 'catastrophe' they were protesting had nothing to do with the 1967 Six Day War.

I don't see why Israel has an obligation to be kind to people who long for her destruction. Israel's present leadership doesn't grasp the extent of the danger. Let's hope the next generation does what needs to be done. When the enemy wears the mask of Amalek, the Jew is under no compulsion to show him kindness, decency or humane consideration, since as it is stated in the Torah, he showed the Jews none on their way out from Egypt.

One of the Arab MKs claimed he was hit in the head by a rock thrown by an undercover plainclothed policeman.

Isn't it more likely he was hit in the head by one of his fellow rock wielding Arab rioters?
