Egyptian author says hijab symbolizes claim that women have no brains
In this video first shown on Al-Mihwar TV (Egypt) on March 31, Egyptian author Sharif Hatata talks about his life with women's rights activist Nawal Al-Sa'dawi. Hatata states emphatically that wearing the hijab symbolizes the claim that women have no brains. Their husband is their brain.This guy isn't going to be too happy if the Muslim Brotherhood ever takes over (and frankly, that's the problem with getting rid of a dictatorship like Mubarak's and why you can't just say you want democracy tomorrow in a country like Egypt.
Note also what he implies about the frequency of sexual assault of children in Egypt. I guess Mohammed would approve.

Wow. I have no idea who the old fellow is, but from what I can tell, HE has a brain! Halleluiah. May he continue to speak out FOR women.
